I just got a piece of hate mail from the Republican National Committee. The outside in HUGE red letters says WARNING: The story you are about to read is graphic and shocking, but true.
The other side has a Barack Obama photo with VERY DARKENED SKIN, looking down, seriously like he is shamed. It has a quote from the Weekly Standard (gee whiz, anything that the Weekly Standard says about Obama MUST be true...what idiots) "the senator's excuse for opposing the born-alive infants protection act don't withstand scrutiny."
You open it and it has a photos of a crying baby talking about how Obama doesn't care for children.
The inside says:
When it comes to life, Barack Obama doesn't share our values. (shocking, coming from the people with apparently no values at all.)
Inside it talks about he is not pro-life and basically wants to kill babies.
There is no shocking part inside, other than the words: "Barack Obama: He's not who you think he is."
You can refuse mail and I am urging all of you to do the follwing:
OBLITERATE your name and address with black pen, or just cut it out. Write on the front of it "REFUSED", then drop it into any mailbox. They must return it to sender and it costs them double what it cost to send because they have to pay return mail costs.
These jerks are pulling out all the stops. I have never voted Republican, have never been on a Republican mailing list, so this means they are sending this out to every registered voter.
I am seriously fuming. How DARE they send this to me. How DARE they even imagine that I would give a shit what they have to say. I am GLAD he didn't sign that bill, you complete morons.
It is MY decision on what I want to do with MY body.
John McCain has lost any sense of honor he once had. He is a cad and a jackass. I implore every single one of you to get out there and counter this with good old fashioned footwork. We have the people, the candidate, the resources and dignity and honor on our side.
DONATE, VOLUNTEER, TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS and above all, get people to the polls.
I live in Minnesota. I wonder how many people who heard about what Michelle Bachmann said and get this today and will believe that the Republican party is the party they want to be a part of.
I have to go wash my hands.
SEND IT BACK.
